The BIODESIGN MAKERSPACE reimagines workstations with biophilic interventions for the forthcoming makerspace at the RISD Edna Lawrence Nature Lab. The future of the aquatics room would enable students to engage in bio-based projects including aquaponics, bioplastics, and other sustainability-oriented activities. Biophilic patterns, as outlined by Terrapin Bright Green, are employed to enhance productivity while nurturing the connection between humans and nature.

This proposal was created in collaboration with Ewa Podgórska and Tara Gupta.
